8 weeks

Phew! I have been so incredibly anxious for today's ultrasound. I feel so much more anxiety with their baby, than my own. I don't want anything else to go wrong. I feel much better after today though, so much relief.

We are officially 8 weeks pregnant today. I feel so great. No sickness, hardly any exhaustion, nada. Only changes are in my boobs (yay) and shortness of breath, which is totally normal. I thank this baby for treating me well. We just got back from California, we took the girls to Disneyland with Joe's family. We had an amazing time and the weather was PERFECT. The week before we got there it was like 103. It cooled to the 70's while we were there. Lots of walking, and thankful for energy! The trip made the week fly, and seems like the ultrasound came really fast!

Went to my appointment, and they got me right in. Love that place, there has been no waiting so far. Quick and easy ultrasound. The baby was measuring right on at 8weeks 1day. Heart rate was 170.  We were able to see two little arm buds and two little leg buds. Looked just like a little gummy bear. Sweet little thing. This whole process is amazing to me. It is so crazy how much it grows in so little time. From a little seed to a gummy bear! Here is the latest photo of their little babe.  His/Her head is on the right, and body to the left. Sweet little heart was beating strong. Now the size of a kidney bean. 

Next up, another ultrasound at 10 weeks. Then I will be weaning off the injections, and heading to my own doctor. Looking forward to growing baby!
